31marca 2020 roku upływa termin zgłaszania rozpraw doktorskich obronionych w 2019 roku do corocznego konkursu o Dyplom im. Stefana Kozarskiego na najlepszą pracę doktorską w zakresiegeomorfologii. Warunki, które musi spełniać zgłoszona do konkursu rozprawa są podane w załączniku. Zgłoszone wnioski będą rozpatrywane przez jury powołane przez Zarząd Główny SGP. Zapraszając do zgłaszania kandydatów do konkursu, uprzejmie prosimy o przesyłanie wniosków wraz z rozprawą i opinią promotora na adres Zarządu Głównego SGP (ul. B. Krygowskiego 10, 61-680 Poznań) w terminie do 31 marca 2020 roku lub na adres sgp@sgp.org.pl.

The Geomorphometry Society and the Organizing Committee are pleased to announce the sixth Geomorphometry Conference, to be held in Perugia, Italy, June 22-26 2020. 

The event is hosted by the Research Institute for Geo-Hydrological Protection of the Italian National Research Council (CNR IRPI) and the Department of Physics and Geology of the University of Perugia. Details on past editions of the conference are on the geomorphometry.orgwebsite.

W dniach 26-28 października 2020 r. odbędzie się Regionalna Konferencja Geomorfologiczna w Mashhad, której głównym tematem będą pustynie i obszary suche.

The 11th International Conference on Geographic Information Science will be held in Poznań, Poland, 15-18 September 2020. Hosted by Adam Mickiewicz University, GIScience 2020 continues the long tradition of the series as a flagship conference for researchers in geographic information science and related disciplines that are interested in spatial and temporal information.

W dniach 3-8 maja 2020 r. w Wiedniu odbędzie się EGU General Assembly. Termin nadsyłania abstraktów (tylko dla członków EGU) ustalono na 15 stycznia 2020 r. Przewidziano także możliwość dofinansowania kosztów podróży dla uczestników, jednak w takim przypadku termin złożenia abstraktów jest krótszy – 1 grudzień.

Registration for International Summer School on Glacial Megaflood Landforms and Sediments (ISSGMLS) is open. The School will be held at resort “Gościniec pod strzechą” located in Krzywe village, ca 6 km eastward to Suwałki (NE Poland) from Sunday to Thursday, 24-28 May 2020, and is dedicated to PhD students and early career researchers who perform their research on the Quaternary geology and glacial geomorphology. The School will be focusing on the Late Pleistocene glacial megaflood-related landforms and sediments and is based on lectures and discussions during the field trips and courses.
